Enterprise Architect – Database Builder

In this video we are looking at Enterprise Architect’s Database Builder, which provides interactive connectivity between the model and the DBMS. This supports both the initial creation of a database and the ongoing update of Tables, Views, Triggers and Procedures – all from within the design model.

The topics we will cover include:

1.Creating a set of Tables and exporting these to a DBMS

2. Updating the model from the database and the database from the model

3. Working with Constraints, Triggers, Indexes and Table Relationships,

4. Using the SQL Scratch Pad for querying the database

5. Synchronizing the Database and the Model
